Hi,
I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before.
My case:
Currently working on H1 with Company CURR, on 8th year of H1,
H1 validity Dec 2009.
I-140 approved > 180 days,
I-485 filed > 180 days
Currently have 2 year validity EAD.
Getting offer from NEWEMP. NEWEMP ready to "transfer" H1B. (Job duties and title same/similar)
Question : If I get H1 "transferred" to NEWEMP (basically work on H1 and NOT EAD), and CURREMP revokes I-140, will this effect my GC process. I intend to work on H1 and keep on renewing EAD based on i-485 filed. NEWEMP will be providing AC21 letter which will be send to USCIS after I join them.
1. Will there be any effect to my GC process in case CURR Company revokes I-140?
2. Can I keep on renewing EAD even though I would work on H1 with NewEMP?
I would appreciate any input on this matter. I need to take some decision very soon.

-- as some else put it in another post .. this has not cured us of the retrogression ailment, this is just a pain killer.

Our lawyer asked us to submit 2 pictures for our 5 yr old daughter for our I-485 application However, after we sent all the documents, lawyer said they need another 2 pictures for her but they already filed our application and will just send the rest of the pictures if the USCIS ask for it, Is there any chance that USCIS will deny our application because of 2 missing pictures? Anyone has the same situation? Thanks.

My friend got into this situation.
He had EB2 Labor approved with PD 08/2005 and I140 approved.. He is in final six months of his H1.
Now, interestingly his EB3 labor from Previous employer was just approved. However, he is no more working with them. But could convince them to file I140 for the apprvoed EB3 (which is PD 09/2003). and would like to Port the PD to his current EB2 with his present employer.
Did any oone of you experienced this and if so, can you please share your experience..
What are the Dos and Donts for this case.. Appreciate your replies.

This is yet another inefficiency on their part. When it comes to AC21 your file does not even get updated even though you may have attached I-485 receipt along with AC21 filing. But when the employer revokes I-140 they don't forget to send you NOID or even I-485 denial.
yes it is like electricity department in India - If you miss payments for a particular period - the next moment they stand in front of ur house and block power suppply whereas they are seen nowhere in vicinity when you complain that you have a power cut and need someone to fix it.

What if H1-B extension is for last 3 years of total 6 years? It means,my first 3 years are ending in nov 07, and if I file 485, will I get 3 years of extension or 1 yr extension?

Steven brings up a good point about those camera phones. I fear them to a degree. Someone told me recently that they had read/heard advice that when you're using a credit card at a store make sure you keep the numbers covered up. Apparently, people with camera phones have been known to take a picture of your card to get the numbers and expiration date.

I need to ask you a question as I don't see on LUD after FP in 485. However LUD changed on my approved I-140.
Was there any LUD on I-140 case after your FP?

1. 8/22/2007 :: This is after my FP
2. 04/21/2008 (Today) :: This is after my I-485 is approved.
I have not noticed an LUD even late last night.
Interestingly, the TSC processing dates have moved to June 29 2007 in the newly released processing times and my RD (06/21/2007) fall with in this period. So my approval could be a result of the progressed processing dates for this month.
